Clock in is one tap. Payroll is one file.

TimeTek is the time clock your staff open in a browser and your payroll system reads without retyping. Schedules, time off, overtime and missed punches are handled before the pay period closes.

Works on any phone, laptop or shared tablet. Nothing to install.

Built with a working multi-site business. Payroll files ready for:

Scheduled hours and worked hours, side by side.

Your schedule and your staff's real punches on one board. Late starts, missing clock-outs and overtime on the way are obvious the moment they happen.

Pick a day to see it change

A few padded minutes a day add up fast.

Clock-ins well before a shift, clock-outs long after it, and lunches that run long all end up in payroll. TimeTek blocks early clock-ins, closes forgotten days and flags long breaks. Plug in your own numbers.

Payroll morning, before and after.

Before

Monday, 7:30 AM, three hours before the payroll deadline

  • Chasing three people who forgot to clock out last Wednesday
  • Adding up time cards by hand and checking the math twice
  • Guessing who's in overtime until the totals are done
  • Retyping hours into the payroll system, one employee at a time
  • No record of who changed what, if anyone ever asks

With TimeTek

Monday, 7:30 AM — and done by 7:40

  • Missed punches were flagged and fixed the day they happened
  • Hours, overtime and time off are already totaled under your rules
  • Managers approved their teams on Friday, and the period is locked
  • One click downloads the file your payroll system imports
  • Every correction shows who made it, when and why

Everything between the first punch and the paycheck.

Your staff see a clock. Your managers see a clean timesheet. Your bookkeeper gets a file their payroll system already accepts.

Problems get caught on the day, not on payday

A forgotten clock-out, a break that never ended, someone heading into overtime — the manager hears about it by email or Microsoft Teams while it can still be fixed.

Only from the office

Punches are accepted from your office network or from devices you've approved. Clocking in from the parking lot — or the couch — doesn't work.

Schedules that keep the clock honest

Set a weekly schedule per person, department or site. Optionally stop clock-ins too far before a shift, and close out anyone who forgets at the end of the day.

Time off in the same place

Staff request vacation, sick and personal time. Managers approve it, and it lands on the timesheet.

A payroll file, not a spreadsheet to retype

When the pay period is approved and locked, export a file built for your payroll system — overtime, time off and holidays already split out.

Running by next pay period.

  1. Add your people

Upload a spreadsheet, or connect Microsoft 365 and keep the roster in sync on its own.

  2. Set your rules

Pay period, overtime, rounding, breaks and which office networks count as "at work".

  3. Send the invites

Staff get an email, set up sign-in, and clock in the same day.

One plan. Every feature. Every site.

You pay for the people who actually clocked in that month — not everyone on the roster, and not per location.

Questions owners ask first.

Something else? support@tiertek.com

Do my staff need to install an app?

No. TimeTek runs in the browser on any phone, laptop or tablet. A shared front-desk tablet can run in PIN mode for staff without their own device.

We don't use Microsoft 365. Does it still work?

Yes. Staff can sign in with an email and password, protected by two-step verification. Microsoft 365 sign-in is there for offices that already have it.

How do you stop people clocking in from home?

Each office lists its networks. Punches are only accepted from those networks, or from specific devices you've approved — useful for staff who travel between sites.

What happens when someone forgets to clock out?

You choose. TimeTek can close the day automatically at a set time, alert the manager, or both. The employee can send a correction with the real time, which the manager approves.

Can a manager change someone's hours?

Corrections are added next to the original punch, with who made them and why — the original is never overwritten. Once a pay period is approved and locked, nothing moves without an unlock that's also recorded.

Who counts as an active employee?

Anyone who clocked in at least once during the month. Seasonal staff, people on leave and former employees still on the roster cost nothing in a month they don't work.

Which payroll systems does it export to?

ADP RUN, ADP Workforce Now, Paychex Flex, Gusto, Paylocity and QuickBooks Desktop, plus a CSV for any other system. We test your first import with you.
