Terms of service
Last updated October 19, 2026
In short: your business owns its data, you are responsible for the hours you approve and the payroll you run, we keep TimeTek running and secure, and either of us can end the arrangement. The details are below.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between TierTek IT Solutions ("TierTek", "we") and the business that signs up for TimeTek ("you", the customer). The person accepting them confirms they can do so for the business. Your employees use TimeTek under your account; you are responsible for their use of it.
2. The service
TimeTek is a web-based time clock with schedules, time off, timesheet approval, alerts, reports and payroll-system export files. TimeTek is in early access: features may change, and we will tell you before removing something you rely on.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep account details accurate and sign-in credentials private, and remove access for people who leave.
- Set your pay rules, pay periods and overtime settings, and review and approve timesheets before you pay from them. TimeTek calculates hours from your settings; it does not give legal, tax or wage-and-hour advice.
- Check a payroll file against your payroll system's records before you submit payroll, especially the first import.
- Tell your employees that you use TimeTek to record their working time, and follow the employment and privacy laws that apply to you.
- Don't use TimeTek to break the law, try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, overload or probe the service, or resell it without our written agreement.
4. Your data
You own the information you and your employees put into TimeTek. We use it only to provide and support the service for you, as described in our privacy page. You can export your reports and payroll files at any time. Punch history is permanent by design: corrections are added next to the original, never written over it.
5. Fees
Prices are shown on timetek.io or in a written quote. Early-access and pilot customers may use TimeTek free for the period we agree in writing. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any charge starts or a price changes, and you can cancel before then.
6. Availability and support
We work to keep TimeTek available and back up its data daily, but we don't promise it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance happens outside normal business hours where possible. Support is by email at support@tiertek.com during business hours (Eastern Time).
7. Ending the service
You can stop using TimeTek at any time. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or end the service with 60 days' notice. Either way, you will have at least 30 days to export your data, after which we delete it as described on the privacy page.
8. Warranty disclaimer
TimeTek is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, and TierTek's total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for TimeTek in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for a significant change, email your account's administrators at least 30 days before it takes effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. A separate signed agreement between you and TierTek takes priority over these terms where they differ.
